"What's wrong?" Toadette asked as she noticed Toad pacing back and forth in the hallway with a worried look on his face.

"I lost my toothbrush." Toad said as he shook his head, feeling gloomy as he wasn't having a good morning.

"...so?" Several generic, multicolored Toads responded as they walked back Toad.

"So I want to go and get it back!" Toad screamed angrily at the bunch of Toads, scaring them off.

Toadette squinted as she watched the Toads run around like chickens without heads. "You didn't have to scare them like that, Kinopio..."

"I can't help it. I get grouchy without my toothbrush." Toad grumbled as he folded his arms together.

"My word, is that why you haven't been brushing your teeth?" Toadsworth exclaimed as he waddled towards Toad with his cane.

"What gave you that idea?" Toad remarked, his smelly breathing hitting Toadsworth in the face.

"Your bad breath, for one!" Toadsworth snapped, being able to sense it despite not having a nose. "We're going to take care of your mouth problem immediately, so don't dawdle!"

"Ooh, is that like drawing?" Toadette asked, only to frown as she realized that both Toad and toadsworth were glaring at her.
