He hated it. It made him scowl.
Though one day, while Shinji was sprawled upside-down from his bed, too engulfed with the jazzy notes ringing through his headphones, he had seen something that changed his mind.
Hiyori had entered his room without knocking -as usual- with an obvious intention of pure evil. And, as usual, she wore that famous fanged frown. That's when Shinji realized how beautiful Hiyori looked upside-down. For when he turned his world around, Hiyori would be smiling. It was like the rainbow after the storm, an array of fading colors smiling backwards - so magical.
Shinji loved his Bankai; it made Hiyori grin.
