Wow. I did this like ten minutes ago. It's short but it's just something that was creeping in my mind and I just had to type it in. I sort of tried. I tried to make this deep, intense and mysterious as possible. This is a one-shot so I will not continue it. It's just a drabble I jotted down while I was reading other fictions.

Forbidden fruit. That's what she was. Delicious fruit, just waiting to be eated. To be savoured in the mouth of her love.

His eyes. Those deep eyes. Slowly creeping into hers. He flowed away her bangs that were dangling in front of her forehead. "Be mine. Together we could create our own world. Nothing to fear. You and me."

She frowned, disappointed. Sighing deeply, she broke out her horrifying news. "I'm sorry. But I already promised someone else."

Couldn't she see he was killing him inside? He wanted her. He wanted to hold her, kiss her, spend the rest of his life with her. But as she said, she promised someone else. He was stubborn, tough, competetive, a little selfish at times. And yet. She still got her man. "I don't understand." He answered her. "He betrayed you, broke your heart. And you still want him?" He was as confused as ever. He's never felt this way before. He felt... disappointed, heartbroken, confused.

"I told him I wouldn't stay with him. I never said that we were over." She replied to him. "But now I know. I don't feel... myself without him. I need him. He's been in my mind for weeks and I can't get him out." She turned to leave. Those steps could ruin what they have.

"But what about us?" He asked, reaching out to stop her. She pulled away, ashamed.

"I'm terribly sorry. But I just don't feel right without him." She closed her eyes and walked out that door, slowly closing it behind her. That's it. They're done.

Forbidden fruit. That's what she was. Delicious fruit just waiting to be eaten. To be savoured in the mouth of her love.

She didn't feel stupid. She was proud for what she did. She felt like she made the right choice. He wasn't the guy for her. She loved him. Needed him. She couldn't stand their distance. She needed to be closer, to be in the comfort that lies within his arms. He was faithful, caring, protective. Everything she wanted. He provided it for her. He's waiting for her, knowing she would return in his arms some day.

Yes I did make up the italicized phrases. I was going to call this drabble Faded, but I'll do that in my next short drabble. And knowing me, you guys should know who I was talking about. Well I'll put up another drabble when I can. And I'll try to make the next one better. Because I feel like this insn't my best work. And I'm trying to make sure that my latest work is my best work until I post up the next one. But I'll really try to make the next one deeper.
