She floated in the water her arms wrapped tightly around her stomach, she curled into a tight ball. She was waiting to be rescued, waiting for ET to come and save her. The wind blew harshly on her cheeks; it made her hair fly wildly in the wind, causing it to twirl into damp knots.

Time passed and she began to shiver, the waves were becoming rough; she was tumbling in them like a petal trapped in a breeze. But still she was not scared, she knew he would come for her, he would not forget. Any moment he would be her white knight and save her, just as he was meant to.

It became colder, the wind growing icier with each blow. She began to worry, where was he? Where was her ET, her knight. She could taste the salt water of the sea and slowly she came to the horrible realisation that he was not coming. No longer could he rescue her, he was dead and now she wanted nothing more than to join him. Just a little bit longer in this cold, numbing water and she would be with him, they could be together again.

The waves kept rocking her and the taste of sea water became stronger, she let out a cough and struggled, gasping for breath. She spluttered and coughed a burning feeling in her throat. Surrounded in darkness she waited for a light of hope, something bumped into her, it was cold and hard. She grabbed onto it, rolling the object over.

Nav screamed a horrible empty scream. The cold heavy object was in fact ET, her ET. He came, just not as she thought he would. His once sparkling blue eyes were looking up at the stars they could no longer see.

Suddenly she could no longer feel the water, but in fact a soft mattress, no longer could she see ET or his empty eyes. But the taste of the sea, the salt water was strong. She opened her eyes to find she was in her cabin on the Hamersley, and the salt water she could taste was actually her own tears that had fallen their lonely path down her cheeks.
