Cliché Rebuttals

Number One- "Opposites Attract"

OK. Whoever said this….needs a reality check. Opposites do, in some cases, attract, however, most commonly, the two don't have enough in common to hold them together. Take myself and Naruto, for instance.
Naruto is loud, outgoing, slightly annoying, brash, unthinking, courageous, and wears orange.
I, on the other hand, am quiet and shy. I stutter, I doubt myself, I faint, and I blush.
Nothing in common. Zip, zilch, zero, nada. Hence, we would never be able to stay together.
Shino
On the other hand, those who are similar…but not too similar, mind you, go together well. There is enough common ground to hold together the relationship, and every once in a while, a disagreement makes life more interesting.
Now, I know Hinata just described herself, but she left out quite a bit. Hence, I'm doing it again. Hinata is quiet, slightly unsure of herself, reserved, intelligent, kind, warm, caring, shy, easygoing, and friendly.
Myself? I am reserved, quiet, stoic, and cold. I have bugs in my body and am never seen without my sunglasses.
And no, Hinata….I did not leave out "handsome", because I do not consider myself as such.
