"Lilian ….." a small voice whispers behind me, I turn around recognizing the voice hope spreading through my chest. A small girl stands in the door frame tears in her green eyes, I study her eradicate breaths and tear stained face, from her form alone one would say she looked 16 from her unusual height. Tears fill my eyes, memories of two children running together fill my vision taking the breath from my lungs. I move forward hesitantly gauging her reaction, a sob leaves her lips and I break into a sprint my legs propelling me towards the woman I love. My arms close around her clawing at her back pulling her into me, her hands move to my hair pulling my face to hers, desire jolts though my veins making my actions less fluid and more desperate. i stop her, grasping her face with my hands, my eyes search hers only seeing love and disbelief.
"I'm back." I chock out, tears fill my eyes and the guilt of leaving comes back to me with a new aggression. "i know."
