Aftermath
Gotham never knew what to do after Batman disappeared. After he flew out to sea and his ship exploded, the city crumbled.
Wayne Industries was shut down after Bruce died. No one had yet seen the coincidence between the two's disappearance. Bane was overthrown. The city was safe. For about a month. Gotham's criminals felt braver with no threat. Murders, Robberies and muggings were becoming more and more common. With Batman gone, who was there to stop them?
commissioner Gordon wouldn't step in, he didn't have the power. Physically or mentally. Things began to go downhill even more. Rumours were being thrown around. The cities criminals were becoming braver. But why? Something was wrong.
At the Gotham City Bank, gunfire was being heard from within. Explosions from below ground. Then came the inevitable. An almighty explosion took down the entire front of the building. Then, walking on top of the rubble, emerging from the dust and smoke, a strange looking man with greasy green hair and a severely scarred face. He was back.
