Chapter 1: The Strange Feeling
It's a new day for Alexandria. Queen Garnet wearing her orange suit knocks on Zidane's room. Zidane opening his room sees her and was shocked; he thought it was one of the knights. He fixed his hair and he asked why she visits him.
"What? Did you forget? It's your birthday!" Garnet said angrily because he forgot
"Birthday? It's my birthday?" he said confusingly
"You must be ready, ok"
"Ok, your highness"
"I told you stop calling me like that! Just call me Garnet ok"
"Ok, Garnet"
After a few seconds he has prepared and went out to his room. Garnet in the other hand waits for him.
Zidane went outside and he saw all of his friends. Vivi and the others gave his gift to him.
They are now having a party and it ended at night. Vivi, Quina, Steiner, Freya, Eiko, Amarant and Garnet still are the ones who are left in there because everybody has leaved.
"Thank you for this birthday party guys" Zidane said happily
"If it wasn't to Queen Garnet, this party will not be accomplished." Vivi said
"Thank you, Garnet."
"Oh it's nothing" Garnet said as she is blushing
Zidane laughs until he felt something. All of them are worried about him.
"Zidane what's wrong?" Garnet asked worriedly
"I don't know, this feeling, it's…" after he said it, he shouted and fell unconscious.
"Zidane!"
After being unconscious, he wakes up and he sees its morning already. He also saw Garnet at his side. Garnet was so worried about him. She can't sleep that night. Zidane saw that she is really worried and he decide to hug her.
"I'm sorry if I made you worried" Zidane said
"Zidane…" Garnet said, still worried and tears fell from her eyes.
"Don't cry, I'm okay now, don't worry." he said as he touches her hair.
The mysterious happening of Zidane makes him confused. He doesn't know what the cause of that thing is but he didn't think too much of it because of Garnet. He walks around with Garnet outside the palace. He can still see in Garnet's face that she is so worried about him. He stopped walking and does funny things to make Garnet laugh. She laughed and Zidane said that he really is okay.
In nearby, a girl with a long yellow hair is watching them. She looked at Zidane seriously. It can see also on her face that she is also worried about him.
"Zidane…."
The sky became dark suddenly, a sign that there is going to have a storm, the two hurriedly runs back to the castle. They have reach the castle and entered immediately. Steiner approaches them and gives them some towels. It started to rain, Beatrix close all the windows in the palace. Zidane feels the strange feeling again. Garnet asks help from Steiner to carry him to his room. He still feels the pain and a flashback came to his mind and he saw Garland then he fell unconscious again.
