"Mabel? Are you, you?" Dipper asked finally in his own body.
"Yeah. What's up?" Mabel said rubbing her head.
"Well I got the key." Dipper said dangling them infront of her.
"Get back here." Mabel said getting up to chase him.
Dipper ran up the stairs with Mabel in pursuit.
She tackled him through their door as they fought viciously over the key.
She took the key as Dipper pushed her off him with his foot.
Dipper had an idea.
"Look, Waddles in a Tuxedo." Dipper said pointing behind her.
Mabel looked behind her with a smile.
Dipper took the opportunity and swiped the key from her and rushed out the door.
"Hey" Mabel said giving chase.
They reached the stairs as Mabel grabbed the back of his vest and pulled him back reaching for the key.
Dipper kicked at her as she pushed him.
Dipper missed a step.
In a moment of panic Mabel reached out to grab him but missed and watched in horror as he tumbled down the stairs.
She heard the ear rattling crack as a tear streamed down her face and he slammed into the floor at the bottom.
She had her hands over her mouth in shock at what she'd just done.
"Dipper?" she called.
No response. Or movement.
"DIPPER!" she screamed racing down the stairs.
She reached his side.
He was on his stomach with a bloody nose and a nasty gash on his forehead.
His hat had fallen off and landed 2 feet away from them.
Hearing the commotion everyone rushed out in a panic.
Candy made it out first gasping at the sight.
"Dipper wake up!" Mabel cried out with tears streaming down her cheeks.
Grunckle Stan got up from his seat to see the cause of this disturbance in his nap.
"Alright who interupted..." He stopped as soon as he saw the injured boy at the foot of the stairs.
"Whoa, what happened kids?" he question.
Mabel looked up.
She was having a panic attack.
"M-m-m-m-m-me a-a-a-a-a-a-a-and Di-pper were were fighting over the key a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-n-nd, I accidentally pushed him down the stairs a-a-a-a-n...!" Mabel felt like she couldn't breath.
"Hey kid calm down, hey. It was an accident." Grunckle Stan said.
"I'm sorry Dipper!" She cried out as Grunckle Stan pulled her away taking out his cell phone to call 911.
"No! I must be there!" Mabel cried out trying to get back to her brother.
"Hey kid calm down. You keep shaking him you might hurt him more." Stan said pulling her into a hug.
She cried into his shoulder.
Blubs and Durland were still in the house as they pushed the kids away from the injured Dipper.
10 minutes later.
Sirens could be heard coming in as Mabel was now outside talking to a deputy giving her statement for their police report.
Candy and Grenda were by her side comforting her as the cop talked to her.
Stan was talking to Sheriff Blubs. Blubs wasn't big on casework but this was a rare exception he had.
"Listen she's not gonna get in trouble since kids let alone sibling fight all the time. This was a simple case of they were being too rough.
"Yeah, I know, I should've been paying more attention." Stan said blaming himself.
Mabel now sat against the police car with her sweater over her face and legs in sweatertown.
The Ambulance lights flickered as the medics and firefighters brought Dipper out of the house on a stretcher.
"Mabel?" Stan said.
"Mabels in sweatertown." Mabel replied her voice breaking.
"Well I need Mabel to come out of sweatertown because Dipper leaving." Stan said.
Her head popped out of her sweater.
Stan felt terrible. Mabels eyes were beat red and puffy from crying so much.
