"I thought love was only true in fairy-tales," Elsa sang quietly to herself. She was skipping down the hall. She knew she was being stranger than Anna, but she didn't care. No one was here to see their queen be so silly, and she had too much happiness bubbling up inside her. "Meant for someone else, but not for me. Love was out to get me, that's the way it seemed. Disappointment haunted all my dreams." She placed her hand on the door knob to her room. Maybe she'd curl up with a book-
"Then I saw her face, Now I'm a believer!" She jumped, whirling around. Anna was standing there, grinning and belting the rest of the song at the top of her voice.
"Anna!" Elsa shrieked, her heart pounding. She had thought she was alone!
"Not a trace of doubt in my mind!" her sister sang.
"You nearly gave me a heart attack." Anna was not sympathetic. She looked positively delighted as she wrapped her arms around Elsa.
"I'm in love..."
Elsa flushed as Anna gazed at her.
"I'm a believer!"
"Stop it Anna."
"I couldn't leave her if I tried!" Anna released her embrace, still grinning and looking at Elsa with a face that clearly expressed her less than innocent thoughts. She was definitely in a playful mood, but so was Elsa.
Elsa smiled back, then conjured a snowball.
"Oh, don't you even -" Anna said, but quick as a flash Elsa grabbed the front of her bodice and shoved the ball down her front. Anna yelped. Elsa flicked her hand and another ball appeared in her hand.
Anna flashed an impish smile and ran off down the hallway.
"Get back here!" Elsa yelled, running after her. "I'm not done with you yet!"
They ran through the halls of the castle. Every time Elsa would let a snowball fly, Anna would duck behind something. A trail of knocked over suits of armour, splats of snow on the walls and furniture were left behind them.
"I'm a believer!" Anna continued to belt as she ducked through a door and out into the courtyard. Elsa smirked and twiddled her fingers, making the snowball larger until it was bigger than she was.
Anna looked back. Her eyes widened.
The pile of fluffy snow knocked her over, both trapping and cushioning her. Only Anna's head and feet stuck out.
"What do you say?" Elsa asked.
"Come on Else, let me go," Anna said, pouting.
"Don't think so, hon." Elsa climbed on top of the snow pile, draping herself over it so she could gaze down at her sister, who was pretending to struggle but having a hard time of it. She was laughing too hard.
"Now Anna," Elsa said, pulling out her best queen voice. She reached out a finger and tapped Anna on the nose. "You know it's not polite to startle people."
"But you're so cute when you sing," Anna said.
Elsa raised a delicate eyebrow.
Anna waggled hers in return.
"You are such a brat."
Anna was still giggling. "What are you going to do to teach me a lesson?" she asked. Elsa smirked.
The snow covering her sister melted away, and Elsa was left pressed on top of her. She tilted back Anna's head to give her a sweet, slow kiss.
"I think you know," she growled into her ear. Anna's arms reached up to wrap around Elsa's neck.
"Hiya Guys!" Elsa sprang up so fast that she stumbled on the edge of her dress. Olaf was waving and waddling over to them, a big smile on his goofy face. "What'cha doing?" He looked from Elsa, whose face was as red as a beet to Anna, still laying on the floor of the courtyard.
"Oh, nothing," Elsa muttered. She reached out to help Anna to her feet.
"Okay!" Olaf said, cheerful as ever. He waddled on over to a bed of flowers, proceeding to give a name to each individual blossom.
Anna tucked her hair behind her ear, grinning sheepishly. She leaned toward Elsa and whispered, so the snowman wouldn't hear: "Want to finish the lesson in my room?"
