"The best love is the kind that awakens the soul;

that makes us reach for more,

that plants the fire in our hearts and brings peace to our minds. ..."

Reflection was a word that Annabeth didn't come to, or perhaps for the use of a better word, use. That was one thing Percy had notcied over the few months they had been together. Sure; Annabeth had told him about her past and how she ran away from home.. but it wasn't enough. He wanted to know things about her nobody else did. Percy didn't know how, or why, but he wanted her to tell him. Why was this so important for him to know? That's the question he was asking himself.

"Annabeth?" Percy called out. The son of Poseidon had walked into cabin #6 and had started talking to his lover. "Can you tell my something I don't know?" The daughter of Athena had been rearranging the books when she heard the question. She meerily looked over her shoulder. "E=Mc2." Percy sighed. That was not what he meant. "Not that.." Said the son of Podeidon, stretching out the t in 'that'. "Something about you!" Percy finished. Annabeth sighed and put the last book, Beauty and the Beast, on the shelf. "I've told you a billion things about me, Seaweed Brain. What else is there to know?" The lover asked. The Seaweed Brain thought for a moment. "Reflect on your past."

There we go. He had said it. That word that Annabeth never came to, the word she would never ever say. A storm passed in Annabeth's wild grey eyes. "Reflect on my past?" She repeated quietly. Percy nodded. "There's not that much to know." The lover sighed. "My father..he was never really around. Ya know?" Of course Percy knew. He always knew. "Go on," He urged. "It was always just us. My brothers and I." Annabeth looked off into space. "The spiders, they'd come at night. You know this, Perce." The lover boy ignored the temptation to roll his eyes. "And that's it." Percy opened his mouth to say something, but closed it before anything came out. "Ok." Percy finished. The lover walked out the door and into the cold night.
