YES this is an RPfic between Seliphra and myself, THERE IS OUT OF CHARACTERNESS because Sephy-chan and I used a plotline from a yaoi Manga (Madness)(Read it! It's awesome!)
Sephy controlled Shiki.
Llama controlled Akira.
And if you don't know Akira is uke you need help.
Warnings: First chappie's pretty tame, I will warn you mortals for impending smex.
Shiki cursed lightly under his breath as he staggered down an alley way. He shouldn't be standing -let alone walking- but he had to get someplace safer then there...surely the slayers would find him sooner or later. Those vampires...they had been strong, and alone of little concerned but ten on one was too much even for him. He finally collapsed face down in the alleyway. "Shit..." he swore again as his consciousness faded.
At the entrance to the alley this was like a television show for Akira, a full-fledged vampire petrified with fear smelling Shiki's unmistakable scent. 'Leave him,' the words echoed in his head over and over, but Akira's body went over, and then moved Shiki back to his apartment. The vampire blood stung Akira's very sensitive nose as he washed Shiki's clothing, and off his body, before waiting...
Shiki's body certainly wasn't something to complain about seeing though, his physique he was perfect. It was a full two days before he sat bolt upright, startle by...he frowned then...he didn't know what.
"Oh good, you're awake," Akira smiled pleasantly without revealing his fangs. Shiki looked at the voice that spoke and blinked blankly, though it was easily mistakable for his usual coldness. "Who...are you?"
"The person who took your bloody unconscious body off the street and cleaned you, Shiki..." Akira explained, "My name's Akira, and you're in my apartment."
He looked around, "I'm...Shiki?" He asked.
"That's right," Akira nodded.
"Do you...know me?" He asked then. It was becoming rapidly evident he had no memory of who he was...or what he was capable of. Akira noted this too, and inwardly he smirked, "I've known you for a long time."
"You have?" He asked, then he smiled...it was surprising attractive. "That's good but...I don't...I'm sorry, I can't remember you..." he frowned then.
Akira simply smiled back, "That's not good... I'm a little hurt, but it's good to see you again Shiki."
"Have I been gone somewhere?" Shiki asked blankly.
"Overseas," Akira shrugged lightly, "Oh... But you must be hungry." Akira stood and walked to the bed, "Do you have any requests?"
"I..." He frowned again, "I don't...know what I like..."
"Oh, then I know what to make," Akira smirked lightly and wasn't sure why he did this, but he did. The vampire leaned over and kissed Shiki's head, "The bathroom's through that door if you want to clean up before eating."
He blinked then nodded. Shiki had no idea what Akira had done wasn't normal-he figured it must be now. Shiki stood then headed into the bathroom but wasn't sure how to proceed and gave up quickly. He figured if he was cleaned up by Akira like he'd mentioned then he must be okay to eat food.
Akira was having a fit in his mind, should Shiki ever recover his memories Akira might end up dead without warning. He gulped lightly in fear, Shiki is one hunter you NEVER mess with, but Akira's tempting fate right now. When he was done cooking, Akira set out several dishes with a variety of food and flavors.
Shiki wandered in about then, still clueless though drawn by the smell. "Umm...This may seem strange to ask but...how do we know each other?" He asked, a small smile tugged his lips. Akira gulped slightly, should he play that card? Was Akira really THAT lonely? Friends-with-benefits sounded cheap though, "Uhm... Well, it's kind of complicated, but we did date a couple years ago..."
"WE did?" He said blinking then..."Umm...what does...'date' mean?" Akira hung his head, wow Shiki forgot EVERYTHING. He chuckled nervously, "Uhm... Went on dates, to-like-movies, or amusement parks, had dinner together... Spent time with each other... Sex..." Akira mumbled the last word. Shiki blinked. He did know what sex was at least...the things he'd learned were still with him...too some degree anyways, many things were gone though "Oh...why did we stop then?"
"Distances," Akira said simply.
"Oh...is that all?" He asked in surprise.
"Yeah, it was better to end it... Long distance relationships are very hard," Akira was speaking from experience here.
"Oh...I guess now it would just be silly though if I don't remember anything..." He blinked then, suddenly frightened by the prospect and shivered.
"Yeah, but I'm glad you're okay... Well, in a manner of speaking, I found you beaten half to death with vampire blood soaking your clothes," Akira gasped a little and covered his mouth.
"What's a vampire?" he asked. He was lucky his memories weren't triggered by his slip up.
Akira stared at him in awe, "You don't know what a vampire is?" He asked slowly to which Shiki frowned, "I don't know...anything..." he look upset then.
"Hey, don't worry... You remember how to speak," Akira pointed out, "Uhm... I-I can show you what a vampire is..."
"A-are they dangerous?" Shiki asked first.
"Some are, but there are people called Hunters that kill them," Akira explained, hiding a bitter look.
"Oh...okay then...I guess you can show me one that's nice..."
"Would you say I'm nice?" Akira asked next.
"Ah...are you a vampire then? I suppose you're okay then..."
"I am," Akira smiled, revealing his fangs then. Shiki started a little then leaned in close to see, "Oh...am I a vampire?" "No, but you're not human either," Akira said. "Oh..." Shiki nodded. "Is that all a vampire is? A person with fangs then?" he asked leaning away.
"No..." Akira wasn't comfortable with this topic. "First off, you're an elemental demon... Next, a vampire is immortal, and requires blood to survive."
"Oh...okay then...I guess that isn't so bad..." Shiki said thoughtfully. "Ah...but...what's a demon?" Akira dropped his head again and covered his eyes exasperated, "Sit and eat Shiki, and I'll explain..." Shiki frowned a little then sat "Akira...I'm sorry I'm a nuisance..."
"No it's fine, I just didn't think you'd forgotten THAT much," Akira waved it off, and sat across from Shiki and began by explaining what a demon is, and more importantly an Elemental Demon.
Shiki ate quietly as he could though he'd break in with the odd question he couldn't hold in. After dinner was finished along with the explanation he smiled again. "Thank you," he said.
"You're welcome," Akira nodded once, "And since you don't remember where you live, you can stay here." "A-are you sure I'm not too much of a burden?" Shiki asked, worried. Anyone who'd even HEARD his reputation new this was definitely no act. "It's no trouble, but I work during the nights... And actually I've got to go in a couple hours," Akira had to prepare before his shift, his guard was dropping rapidly unfortunately since Shiki didn't remember who he is or his job.
"Oh...okay..." He said with a small nod, "Um...do ...I have a job?"
"Y-Yes..." Akira regretted saying this.
"Oh...I suppose I should contact whoever my boss is then...so they don't worry," Now would be a good spot for a lie about him being self employed. Akira tried to think, "You're talking to him..." He chuckled adorably, "You work for yourself." "I do?" Shiki said then smiled, "I see...that's good then!" "Yeah," Akira grinned, and quickly came up with a lie of what Shiki's job is. Next thing he knew, Akira had to go to his club to work.
Shiki saw him off then looked around. "Hmm...Now what..." he mused.
It was all up to Shiki... Akira sighed when he arrived and changed into a degrading outfit that barely covered anything, the doors opened and soon Akira was dangling from the ceiling.
Aiight Mortals, that's the first chapter/segment/thing... Whatever you wanna call it. I'm probably not as cool as Sephy to name chapters though...
