Please read for better understanding.

Ok, so set a little while after Law officially joined the Donquixote Pirates, but a good time before Corazon kidnaps him.

If you want to check out my OC Mikina's profile for more, official info on her just look up my deviantART account. It's the same username.

In this AU Miki doesn't have the Crush Crush Devil Fruit abilities she usually has, and would have at the age of 8/ possibly recently turned 9 I have placed her at. Her dad is a mixed breed of blue ringed octopus and weever fish in this AU instead of a normal human, so it is only natural that some of those traits, speaking fishmen-wise here, would be passed onto to her (And the joke- something looks fishy about her in this slightly alternate universe). Her mother, Rosaline Newgate, is still human.

There is just interaction with child ASML (Ace-Sabo-Miki-Luffy in age order I assume) and the Donquixote family set in the time placement given. Ace and Sabo are 10 (older 10 year olds. Luffy is seven). I still need to tweak and work on their ages so they correspond, but Miki is a year to a year and a half to even two years older than Luffy, by is younger than Sabo and Ace. Prepare for maximum funny, fluff, and cuteness, with some mild more adult stuff, mainly violence, but most likely because Miki, Law, and of course Cora (a violence prone little girl, a boy who a twisted, f-ed up mind, and a man who can't go a day without catching himself on fire)...

Let me know what you guys think (this was just a random idea I liked). Without further delay~

Cold...

It's cold, and...

The light above is fading in a gentle, ever darkening blur.

His eyes are burning, but that pain, too, is numbing as the seconds tick by. With each caress of the sea the chances of him surviving this slim.

The light source wavers. It seems so far away, so out of his reach.

That's the first thing his mind registers after blackening out for a moment.

Everything seemed to have happened so fast. Weren't they supposed to be in waters of the weakest of the seas. If so, then how could they get caught up in a storm that bad? Well, the storm itself wasn't so bad, but it was as if the sea was cursing them, kicking up horrible rageful waves that had their ship rocking about like a rubber duck in a too full bathtub with an overly energetic kid being the one getting a bath. It's all those weak ass pirates, or merchants, or Marines, or whatever fault! Those waves should have been child's play for them all to handle, but the group that attacked them had everyone preoccupied and distracted.

Now his body is motionless.

He can't move. Fire overtakes his lungs, spreading out towards his numbing limbs. He can't breathe, only choke weakly as salt water enters his airway.

This is how he dies, huh? Drowning because of a small slip, something so meniscal that it happens to him all the time, but it happens to himself this once and he is going to die because of it.

Amberlead won't claim him after all.

He didn't get to destroy anyone, kill anything to soothe the bitterness in his soul and the hate in his heart. He can't bring himself to even care at this instance.

His mind is too at gone.

It has been for quite some time. One last pitiful choke sends a spiral of bubbles gliding upwards. Just as the last of his consciousness starts to leave him a shadow appears in his line of vision. Hazy hues of blue, brown, and purple assault his vision before everything blacks out once again.
