50-year-old Sonic the Hedgehog lives an idyllic life with her friendly daughter, Snake McSlithers, in Moscow.
However, the teacher's life is turned upside down when she goes to a funeral in Liverpool where there are sinister ghosts that like to trick each other.
Virtuous, virtuous Sonic is shocked by this revelation and does not want ghosts to trick each other anymore.
Certain that she's doing the right thing, she goes home and gets herself some weapons and fake eyebrows, then returns to Liverpool.
However, Sonic finds herself troubled by her idyllic ideals and becomes overwhelmed with moral questions. Will her conscience allow her to do whatever is needed to stop the sinister ghosts?
