Toph drew in her breath and coughed, the air around the Fire Nation was so polluted. She could practically taste the industrial waste spouting from what she imagined as big smoke stacks. The boat stopped and she grasped on to the railing.
"Toph, are you ready to go?" Aang asked quietly standing next to her.
"Yes." Toph replied. She drew in another breath and followed Aang's footsteps to the metallic streets of the Fire Nation.
"There's nothing but metal here!" Katara said astounded. Both she and Aang had seen the large metal frigates of the Fire Nation but only Aang had previously been to the Fire Nation.
"Fantastic!" Toph said sarcastically.
"Where do we go now?" Katara asked.
"Out of sight, than Toph tells us where." Aang said leading them into a dark ally way. Toph felt for vibrations that were familiar, two sets of footsteps drew near that Toph recognized.
"I knew it!" Toph said quietly.
"Knew what!" Katara said shortly.
"I knew anger management couldn't kid himself into thinking he didn't like knife girl!"
"What!"
"Zuko's with Mai! Aang you owe me two copper pieces!" Toph said pointing and laughing at Aang who silently cursed.
"You had a bet!" Katara said aghast. Both Aang and Katara fell silent.
"Y-yeah Sort of." The two of them said in unison. Katara just shook her head.
Aang poked his head out of the ally to see what was going on, the street was deserted except for Zuko and Mai who were to engrossed with each other to notice them sneak off.
"No one is out there." Aang reported faithfully to the two women trying to figure out where Azula was.
"….Were would she be?"
"Torturing the prisoners, maiming the dead, kissing her father's-"
"I get it." Katara said cutting Toph off.
"Wait I think I have her! The training grounds." Toph said walking a little further down the ally. There was a familiar vibration coming from the training grounds but it was not Azula.
Aang and Katara and Toph looked out where the vibrations were coming from.
"Oh my god!" Aang said.
"What?" Toph asked.
"The poor kid!" Katara said putting her hand to her mouth.
"WHAT!?" Toph yelled. Ty-lee was playing with Tom-Tom Mai's younger brother. Ty-lee had placed large froofie pink pillows all around the training field, she was at the moment dressing Tom-Tom in a ridicules red frock with fringe around the edge while Tom-Tom was trying to get at some chocolate.
"Come on Tom-Tom! Come dance with me." Ty-Lee giggled and began to "Dance." Her version of dancing was twisting herself into a number of ridiculous positions and letting Tom-Tom push her on to the ground.
"I can't watch this." Aang stated and the three of them left.
Just out of the Ally Toph felt another set of vibrations. A quite familiar set of vibrations, revenge was in the air.
