A wave washes up over Olivia's feet as she waits. The sun is setting with beautiful colors of orange and red. A single gust of wind blows her hair away from her tanned face. Unconsciously she replaces the brown hair behind her ears. "Am I late?", a strong male voice asks.
Olivia gets up quickly, "Elliot... I-I need to tell you something". Elliot walks closer to her, "Okay... Shoot".
"I'm leaving", she says bluntly. "Leaving? Why?", he asks starting to freak in his un-Stabler way.
"I'm going to California...This is goodbye". Elliot smiles sadly, walks even closer to Olivia, and kisses her deeply.
Olivia woke with a start. Since leaving New York she's had the same dream every night. Carefully she sits up and looks at her alarm clock. Same dream, every night, at the same time, and she sighs. Deciding to get up she does so but ends up back on her bed.
Letting her eyes adjust she looks down on the floor. She muffles a laugh as she realizes it is her roommate on the floor. When her roommate doesn't wake up after a few minutes Olivia gets up, and head to the bathroom.
Olivia starts her shower and strips quickly. Dipping her head under water she runs through her very last day with Elliot. Flashing back she remembers she was in her dark navy blue suit with a white turtleneck while Elliot was wearing a Grey suit outfit with a navy blue tie. The day began the same; Elliot stopping by to pick her up, and them getting coffee. The only thing different was her waiting for him on the beach to say goodbye and then receiving a kiss that she waited forever for.
The water turns icy and jolts Olivia out of her thoughts. She shuts off the water and wraps her body in her pink beach towel. Wrapping a small white towel around her hair she leaves and goes to the kitchen.
Having finished through most of her breakfast she gets up and decides to go change. Just when she pulls on a burgundy tank top her pone vibrates. She picks up her phone and quietly answers it, "Hello?" When the male voice asks for Olivia she sits on the bed in shock. After a few seconds she puts the phone back up to her ear, "Elliot?"
As she hears such a familiar chuckle she tears slightly when he acknowledges it's him. "El...I...", she stops to find the right words. "Liv", he says demanding lightly, "Listen to me for once".
"Okay... Shoot", she says flashing back again to her last day in New York. "Well you have to open the door", he says lightly. Slowly she gets off her bed and heads to the front door. Gently the door is pulled open and Olivia's eyes fall upon Elliot standing right outside her doorway.
He smiles and speaks into the phone, and she jumps lightly realizing she still had her phone to her ear. "Liv... I'm lost without you". Olivia drops her phone at her side and goes into Elliot's arms,"I'm lost without you too". Carefully Elliot picks her up and turns around to leave. Olivia doesn't bother to stop him because she knows he'd take her home to where she belonged.
Fine
