From the maker of the Plot of Twilight in 150 Words or Less, and the 75th Hunger Games Ultimate Parody, comes yet another story in the humour/parody genre. This time it is the Hunger Games, like the latter of those two aforementioned parodies, and the plot of the Hunger Games will be mocked and summed up in 200 words or less.
The Plot of the Hunger Games in 200 Words or Less:
So there is this girl called Katniss who hunts to prevent herself starving. Some more back story, proving that even successful books can have 'info dump' chapters.
Her sister Prim gets reaped.
Katniss: I volunteer! With my numerous skills I am totally doomed.
She actually believes that. She goes to the Capitol and is instantly worse than everybody proving this… no wait, she outscores and outshines them completely.
Also, Katniss is the Girl on Fire, thanks to Cinna. Everybody knows she is going to win since that pig scene, and Peeta loves her. Katniss doesn't love him back. Such drama.
In the arena, she is mostly unharmed. She gets set on fire once.
Katniss: Thanks Cinna.
She only nearly gets caught long enough to kill some Careers. Katniss and Rue are suddenly allies. They blow up the Careers supplies, which seems to do nothing for the plot. Rue gets killed. Apparently both tributes from a district can win now.
Katniss: Peeta drama in here, because me sitting in trees firing arrows at tributes would get boring and repetitive.
Both tributes can't win again. Katniss and Peeta threaten to commit suicide, so the Capitol lets them both win… yeah…
