Half Alive
Terra looked at him. She couldn't help it, but the memories of her time with him came rushing back into her head. The time he held her before she was turned to stone. The time they had almost kissed. The time he had promised to keep her secret.
He had broken her heart. She always knew that he was a ladies man, but she had never thought that he would ever date Raven. She had had no doubt that one day Beast Boy would leave Raven.
She was right.
He had broken up with Raven and then came running back to her, begging her to forgive him and to take him back.
"And let you break my heart again?" Terra asked, outraged, "Tell me, was Raven upset when you broke up with her?"
His face paled, well at least as much as his green skin could pale. "You-You know about that?"
"The whole city knows about it! Do you know how long it took for feel alright with you two dating? You broke my heart, Beast Boy and now I've learned to live half alive. I don't need you to try to complete me."
"Terra…" He said reaching for her.
Terra jerked away. "Just because you want me back, it doesn't mean your going to get me."
Terra tried to hold back the feeling telling her to let Beast Boy back. Maybe he just dated her because he thought you were dead! It said.
"Terra, dating Raven was a mistake. Please, come back to me." He begged.
"So you can dump me and then go tell Raven 'It was a mistake dating Terra, please come back'?" There was nothing he could do to get her back.
"Terra-"
"Just head back to your tower already! Go back to Raven! And don't come back for me!" Terra cried, trying to hold back the tears. Her time with Beast Boy and the Titans was the best of her life, but she was giving it up to avoid another broken heart.
"I'm truly sorry." He told her before turning into a green eagle and flying away.
The next day, Terra saw Beast Boy and Raven out at a bookstore. Beast Boy never would go into a bookstore voluntarily, meaning they had gotten back together.
She wanted to run up and slap him, saying, "I told you so!" but she held back. She couldn't risk Raven learning what Beast Boy had said about her the night before.
If they were both happy, then Terra would move on with her life. Maybe she could start traveling again and find a new team of heroes to take her in. One thing she knew, though, was that she would never be whole without Beast Boy, but she would never let him back in her life again.
A/N Yes, I am a BBTerra fan, and I love Terra, so don't bash her! I only wrote this because it wouldn't leave me alone. Also I know Beast Boy seems a little OOC, but I wrote him that way, so live with it.
