Now That Your Gone
Summary: How would she react if she lost him forever
She ran as fast as she could. She had to get there in time. She just had to
She screamed at the top of her lungs. Begging for an 'over here' or 'I'm fine'
But what she got was silence
She screamed his name again. This time screaming her plea for for a response.
She had to find him. He had been driving, when he pushed her out of the car because the people behind them were shooting and about to run him off the road. He didn't want her to get hurt.
He saved her lifeThen she saw it, his beat up SUV.
Smashed into a tree.
The other car nowhere in sight.
She screamed her partners name at the top of her lungs. She ran to the SUV and threw the drivers door open, she said his name more quietly now, as if to calm her nearly dead partner. She carefully as humanly possible pulled him from the death trap.
The steering wheel pressed harshly up against his chest. Glass shards impaled through his skin all over.
"come on" she said quietly to her partner "Wake up for me…..Please…" she sobbed
She held her partner as she reached in the SUV got his cell phone and called for help.

Tears streamed down her face as she sat between her two best friends
She stood to give her eulogy.
"she's taking this pretty hard, isn't she Angela?" asked Jack from behind her as best friend went up to give her eulogy.
"the two of us were always like brother and sister, always have been. Ever since he showed up at the Jeffersonian, not so many years ago. He was always there to make sure I did my best and I was always there for him to make sure he did his best. He may not have made much sense to me but that was what brought us so close near the end." Finally her walls came down and she let out a mix of a chocked sob and laugh as she wiped away her tears, and then she went on " whenever I needed him he was there, when I had to shoot a man he was there to comfort me with his smile and wisdom. The day he died is a day I'll never forget it was the day I told him of my true feelings for him. And as he lay in my arms dying I thought to myself nobody has ever loved me like he did and when nobody cared where I was he did, and now we never will know what could've been. I Love you Seeley Booth, rest in piece.
Brennan stepped down from the podium. She sluggishly walked back to her seat and sat down. She then lowered her head to her hands and cried/ she felt the hands of Angela and Jack on her back in attemps to comfort her.
All she wanted was booth back so she could tell him to his face how much she really loved him. That's all. But she wasn't ever getting him back.
So all she could do was sit there and sob as booth's funeral went on.
"Goodbye Seeley" she whispered into her hands.
