16 year old Danny Fenton, ran in his house ignoring his parents, as he ran up stairs. Tears trickled down his face. Danny ran into his room, closing the door loudly, locking it as well. He jumped on his bed, face down into his pillows. Letting all his tears flow. Still ignoring his parents as they knocked on his door. Danny just let it all go.

Just a few minutes ago, Danny learned something. He heard about Sam getting into a car accident. He flew as fast as he could to the hopspital. When he got there, he asked the docter where she was. The docter told him, but also said she wouldn't be alive much longer. Danny felt a sting is his head and his eyes. His eyes began to water as he ran to her room. He found everone there. He ran up to her. Sobing as he hugged her. Sam smiled at him. He tried to smile back but couldn't as the docters words spun through his head.
"Danny..." Sam whispered.
"Yes.." Danny whispered too, as his tears ran down his cheeks.
"I want you to know... I ...Love... you..."
If I smile and don't... believe..

" I love you too Sam, and always will." Danny said in her ear quietly. Danny reached her face and kissed her. Sam looked at him, kissing back. They broke apart.
Danny insisted he stay with her for the night. So he did. Watching her sleep. The next morning... she died. She woke up smiled at Danny after he gave her a small kiss. Then she closed her eyes, still smiling. Then whispered " I love you.". Danny cried fiercly, as he clutched Sam in his arms. Through his sobs he whispered "I Love you Sam.". The docters came in and declared her dead. Thats when Danny ran out.

Danny knew he would never see Sam again. It hurt to know that your best friend, and the one you loved the most died. He just wanted the pain to go away. He knew no one would ever take Sam's place in his heart. He cried until he had no tears. Letting go of his fears... long enough to fall asleep, instead of his family watching him weep. His face red with fright, as day turned to night.
