Other Life (Side story to Summer of Discoveries)
It was his thirtieth party he had held, he supposed. It wasn't anything new to him. Get drunk, make out with at least ten girls or guys, and maybe get lucky during the process. Everyone who knew the kid also knew that he was one great host. Always making sure there was a never ending booze supply, that everyone was involved in one activity or another, and that his parents never even knew.
He was with a few of the seniors at his school passing around a big joint and a bottle of vodka. His blond friend with impossible spiked hair had just made a notion for the petite brunette. Blond Spiky was positive that Petite Brunette couldn't and wouldn't make a move on the red haired gal that he'd had his eye one all night.
Petite Brunette smirked at the offer. A hundred bucks and two joints? It sounded too good to be true, so of course he took the bet. Red Beauty slouched against the wall, most definitely looking for support. Blond Spiky watched the brunette shimmy past the other drunken party goers. Somewhere along his bee-line to Red Beauty, he had picked up a second cup as an offering.
Red Beauty took the cup and happily took a few sips. The brunette took this opportunity to whisper sweet nothings in her ear. The beauty giggled and licked her lips. Petite Brunette felt something stirring within him. As the night went on, Petite Brunette figured he must have refilled Red Beauty's cup at least ten times and his own twenty.
Rumor has it that they started going at it right there in front of everyone. Another one says after Red Beauty's cup number twelve, Petite Brunette took her upstairs to the guest bedroom. The third is that Red Beauty and Petite twelve never completed the task. Fourth says that afterwards Red Beauty and Petite Brunette skipped physics for two weeks afterwards. Only one person could set these stories straight, but he moved to a bustling city leaving poor Red Beauty all alone.
