The Not-So-Perfect Date
A/N: This is for WildWolfLuver. Hope you like it!
"Carlos, I thought the limo was supposed to be here half an hour ago," Stephanie told him. It was their first date and Carlos told her he had rented a limo.
"Um, it was…I wonder what happened," Carlos replied. A second later, the two heard a horn that sounded like it was from the 1890's.
"Oh my gosh!" Carlos said in annoyed shock as a ramshackle little old car pulled up in front of the Palm Woods. "This isn't a limo!"
"When you call Rick's limo service, it is. This is the best one we've got!" the driver called.
"Steph, I'm-" Carlos began.
"Come on Carlos, let's just go. It'll be fun," Stephanie grinned before pulling Carlos into the car.
"Check please, garcon," Carlos called to the waiter as he and Stephanie finished off the dessert portion of their meal. Carlos had made reservations at the most exclusive restaurant in town.
It had been quite a delicious meal. As Carlos picked up the check the waiter just gave him he took a sip of his soda. As his eyes landed on the amount, he spit out the mouthful of soda he had in his mouth.
"WHAT!" he yelled. Stephanie looked at him with confused eyes.
"Can I help you sir?" the waiter asked.
"$500? I don't have enough money to pay this!" Carlos yelled.
"I'm sorry, but if you don't pay, I'll have to call the police," the waiter stated.
"How about we give you what we have and then we wash dishes to pay off the rest?" Stephanie asked in a compromise, seeing that Carlos was freaking out.
"Okay then, with what you have, an hour and half worth of dishes should cover it," the waiter said as he led them to the kitchen.
"Stephanie, I'm-" Carlos was cut off as a soap bubble hit his face and he saw Stephanie laughing.
"Carlos, this is beautiful!" Stephanie gushed as they sat on the roof of the Palm Woods, ready to star gaze. Carlos grinned. Finally, something went right.
But Carlos spoke too soon as the clouds opened up and rain started to pour down. Carlos flopped back onto the ground in defeated frustration.
"Carlos, what's the matter?" Stephanie asked over the rain.
"I'm sorry Steph, I wanted this night to be perfect, but nothing went right," Carlos sighed as he sat up.
"Carlos, it was perfect. It was the best first date ever because I got to spend time with you," Stephanie smiled before giving him a quick kiss. "Call me tomorrow."
A/N: I know that was really horrible, but I felt bad making you wait, so I hope yo liked it a little and are awaiting the Logan/Camille one.
