Ginny looked at Hermione with a shocked expression on her face.
"Why did you never tell me?" she asked softly.
"I never thought I'd have a chance. You were always dating someone else, men, and I never thought you would look at me like that," Hermione confessed.
Ginny closed the gap between them and cupped Hermione's cheek.
"I've always wanted you, Hermione. I thought that you wouldn't want me," Ginny admitted.
"Why wouldn't I want you? You're beautiful, funny, and smart. You know when something's wrong, and you're always there for me when I need someone," Hermione said looking into Ginny's eyes.
"That's the same way that I feel about you. You always know how to cheer me up and make me feel better. I don't know what I'd do without you," Ginny said quietly.
"You'll never be without me. Not now I know how you feel."
"That's what I want to hear," Ginny said as she leant in and kissed Hermione's lips.
The kiss was gentle at first but soon became more demanding. Ginny's slid her tongue into Hermione's open mouth and massaged Hermione's with her own.
Their hands wandered over each other's bodies, squeezing, pinching, and caressing until it was almost too much.
They managed to stop before they could be found in a compromising position, but by the look in Ginny's eyes told Hermione that this was not over.
