Broadening Horizons
"Guess where I caught these two!" Sirius screamed at the top of his lungs as he forced James and Remus into their dorm.
"Stop pushing me, you twat. I can walk just fine on my own, you know." Remus tried to free himself from his friend's hold but was unsuccessful. His face was all red in embarrassment. James had the most wicked grin ever and was beaming with pride.
"Dare I guess?" Peter asked lazily while flipping the pages of his book.
"They were hiding in girls bathroom!" Sirius roared.
Peter jumped from his bed and Sirius nodded.
"Yep, that's right. These two actually sneaked into the bathroom and watched girls doing all those things what girls do in the bathroom. They should be ashamed of themselves."
"Is that the truth, guys?" Peter asked shaking his head in disbelief.
"Of course it is. You starting to doubt me, Wormtail?" James winked at his friend.
"No, not you, stupid. But I thought our Moony was above all that." Peter now looked at his friend whose ears were on fire.
"Actually, it was Moony's idea in the first place," James grinned.
"It was not!" Remus protested.
"Now stalking girls is one thing but lying to your mates is serious," Sirius said while removing James' invisibility cloak from underneath his robes and putting it away in the cupboard.
"We were not stalking them. We were… ummm," Remus mumbled something barely audible.
"We were what?" James asked while lounging himself onto his bed. Sirius joined him and they both peered at Remus who lifted his chin in defiance and spoke with a strong voice.
"We were broadening our horizons, if you must know."
"I was there and we did no such thing," James scratched his head while pondering.
"Do you mind explaining it to me 'cause I don't get a thing," Peter sighed.
"While we were walking behind two girls, James overheard them talking about Lily. He, obviously, wanted to know more so we followed them until they walked into the bathroom. And James started yelling and cursing so, in order to get him off my back, I suggested he to sneak in after them. Someone," Remus looked at Sirius who smirked, "had taken the cloak the day before so James had to crawl through that passage from our bathroom into theirs. He forced me to come along. While hiding we bumped into something or, better yet, someone. Anyone care to guess who?" Another look was cast at Sirius. "Anyway… Those girls talked about some, well, girly stuff. It wasn't too useful."
"I'll tell you what it was. It was disgusting. No, seriously, what guy on Earth would want to know how girls feel after the first kiss? I almost threw up," Sirius interrupted.
"Well, we learnt something we did not know before, ergo we broadened our horizons," Remus finished and sat on his bed.
"I always knew all that time spent in the library would take its toll. You, my friend, are officially insane," Sirius stood up and went for the door.
Peter suddenly asked, "And you, what were you doing in the girl's bathroom with James' cloak on? I assume you too were broadening your horizons."
James and Remus started laughing.
Sirius turned to face his mates, "Nah. I was just stalking two Ravenclaw birds."
