Aeris hummed lightly to herself, glancing at the mirror reflection in the elevator as it traveled to the third floor. As soon as they pinged open, she stepped out and dug her keys from her pocket. However, she was distracted by a growl of frustration and turned in the direction it came from to see Cloud twisting the doorknob furiously. After a few seconds, he crouched down and examined the lock. Aeris tilted her head to the side, a bemused smile appearing on her lips as she watched him. He didn't seem to notice he was being watched though and continued to kick and hit the door in frustration.

"Um, Cloud?" she questioned hesitantly, getting his attention. He stood up straight with a slightly embarrassed look on his face. "What are you doing?"

Cloud blushed, like a child that had been caught raiding the cookie jar and he bashfully rubbed the back of his neck. "I got locked out of my room," he explained, glaring at his door as if it was its fault. Aeris couldn't help the small giggle that escaped her lips and she slowly shook her head.

"You know you could have just asked the people downstairs for your keys?" she suggested teasingly, giggling again as Cloud's cheeks colored a second time. He managed a small smile, scratching his head as he seemed to think about what she had suggested.

"Yeah," he sighed, ignoring the amused look on the flower girl's face as she watched him. "I'll just go and do that," he continued, hurriedly stepping into the elevator. As soon as the doors closed, the Cetra erupted into unstoppable laughter. Cloud may have been a looker but Aeris could tell he was definitely blond, literally and metaphorically.
