I apologise now for the content of this but really I'm doing WW1 and WW2 in history so this seemed almost inevitable.

The Hero.

Isn't that what you always claim to be?

The Hero to the world.

Tell me America how many heroes hurt their brothers for something they don't want?

How many heroes join in fights only once the worst has past?

Shouldn't they listen to those they are trying to save?

Shouldn't they be there from the start?

Two world wars yet you joined half way through. After the worst, the Blitzkrieg, the Somme.

Shouldn't a hero stand by those he fights with when the gauntlet is thrown?

A hero strives to preserve people's happiness yes?

Then why did you help the Allies tear apart lovers and brothers?

Shouldn't a hero endeavour to end fights ,not start them?

To save people instead of condemn them?

To protect freedom and justice instead of handing them over to one who promises neither?

To care about the people who need help instead of looking to the skies amidst plans of grander design?

To run and help when people cry out rather than let those who proclaim themselves neutral put you to shame?

If you are a hero where were you in Europe's darkest hours?

If you are selfless then why did you need provocation?

If you want the best for people why are you starting wars in their countries, over politics they don't care about?

I don't think you truly understand war America, its true nature, the blood, the screams, the pain. The aftermath which in which your borders are either expanded or shrunk. You've never felt innocent people die for being in the wrong place at the wrong time in their millions. 911 and Pearl Harbour were those the only times? When you felt explosives smash into your body seeming to rip your heart apart? When you felt your land burn and people die, so many deaths, so many innocents? That's what the second world war felt like for most of Europe. Bombs raining down on your cities killing your people in their thousands knowing yourself there's nothing you can do to stop them.

Maybe America, next time, before you open your mouth and proclaim you're the hero; just think about these question and about the crying we can all hear nowadays, from Africa and South America and Asia. Don't block them out because they'll still exist if you do. Now think just think, you, the main point of the modern world, who says he's for liberty and democracy, who's waging wars at arms length, just think;

Are you really a hero?

Flame me if you like I don't care. This is probably written from Prussia's point of view or Canada's and is blatantly ignoring any good the Americans have done. I wrote this in 2010 btw. So it ignores Libya.
