"Please, Spencer."
"No."
"Come on."
"No. No way."
Derek Morgan sighed and rolled over with his back to Spencer. He pulled the covers up around his neck, passive-aggressively yanking them off of Spencer. The boy glared resentfully over his now-bare shoulder.
"Hey! Don't be a jerk, it's cold in here."
"Gonna be a whole lot colder if you don't give in, because I'm going to go home."
"Are you really going to sink so low? Emotional blackmail?"
"Whatever it takes."
"Well, go, then. I'm not giving in on this." Spencer irritably fluffed up his pillow, then took the edge of the blanket in both hands and managed to reclaim a few inches for himself.
Derek sat up and stared at his bedmate in consternation. "You're really digging your heels in on this, aren't you, pretty boy? Such a little thing, something that would make me so happy, and you won't even consider it. Now who's being a jerk?"
"I have my principles. There are some things I just won't do."
Derek sneered for a moment, then decided to change tactics. He fit his body tightly against Spencer's, slipped his arm around his waist and said softly, "You didn't want to do the other thing, either, but think how well that turned out. Haven't we both had a lot of enjoyment from it?"
Spencer huffed in disgust. "Yes, and you know how guilty I feel about it, every single time." Reluctantly, he allowed Derek to pull him to him and look into his eyes.
"Spencer, you expect way too much of yourself. You deserve a little guilty pleasure every once in a while."
Spencer raised an eyebrow. "Yeah, ok, but this-this would be solely for your pleasure. I wouldn't get anything out of it at all!"
Derek widened his eyes in innocence. "But, doesn't making me happy, make you happy?"
"Not... always."
Derek grinned and his voice was smooth, like butter. "Come on, baby. Say you'll do it. For me."
"No. It's morally wrong."
"What?"
"Look, signing up for Netflix was okay. But, paying for television is ridiculous!"
"I'm just asking for basic cable, with a little-bitty sports package add-on."
"And, I'm saying, 'No way!'"
Derek narrowed his eyes. "Then, that's it-from now on, when we spend the night together, you're coming to my house."
Spencer shrugged. "Fine. Have it your way."
"Fine." The matter being settled to his satisfaction, Derek gathered Spencer into his arms, tucked the blankets around them, and settled in for sleep.
Spencer smiled as he snuggled into Derek's chest.
He'd have his clothes hanging in Derek's bedroom closet in no time.
