Rated M
Sam and I spent the last night of our relationship out on the fire escape. I held onto her tightly, as if she would vanish forever if I let go. I couldn't get rid of the sinking feeling, the feeling that if I let go I would lose her forever.
I held her snug against my chest. We kissed, for fun, for emotions, and for a loss we were both about to feel. I held onto her tight, knowing that I was possibly squishing her. It didn't matter though, she didn't say anything, and in some way she belonged there.
Sam loved me. She loved me. Samantha Puckett and Freddie Benson: In love. With each other. I was elated when she said it back, even though Carly had hinted that Sam had loved him after the science camp incident. I loved her, and I knew he wouldn't stop loving her, even if they broke up.
She broke the silence. "Can we still love each other without a relationship?" she asked him, in the most serious voice I'd ever heard her use.
"I'm always gonna love you Sam." I told her, running my fingers through her beautiful golden locks. She pressed her lips to mine, more urgently than before. We kissed with abandon, holding each other in place. She nipped at my bottom lip gently, and I took the hint and slid my tongue into her mouth. I touched the tip of my tongue to hers, and our tongues began to play tag, and then wrestle. As usual, she was winning. I would've laughed if my mouth wasn't already accoupied. She pulled away, her face flushed, breathing heavily.
"Listen Freddork, I don't think I can let this end." She said softly
My heart soared before she spoke again.
"We're in love, we can be in love without going out right? We can still do stuff, without a relationship, can't we?"
My heart broke at her words, but as I scanned her face and her looked at her beautiful blue eyes, I knew that I couldn't say no to her.
"Yeah, we can do that." I said in a strangled voice. I don't think she noticed as she curled up against me again.
"Yeah, cause you know, sometimes love isn't enough for a relationship." She said, tracing a design on my shirt.
It was that second that I knew I had to prove her wrong. Have her as my girlfriend, dysfunctional relationship or not.
After all, love is always enough.
So… I hope you guys liked the first chapter. I know I have another story going on, but this idea just had to be written the second I saw last nights show. This story is really close to my heart, as I was in a similar situation with a guy who is still my best friend, and whose in love with me at the same time. So I plan to make this story something that when you read it, your going to come away with something.
So please take the time to review, and recommend it to all your friends.
iGet Sick will still continue, but this story will be updated way more often.
Sincerely yours,
