Murdoc Niccals was sitting in his winnie when Nikolai came barging in looking for Cortez, his mom. For those of you who don't know Nikolai is the by-product of Cortez and Murdoc. He's a demon spawn and he can communicate with ravens. Murdoc was just about to yell at Nikolai when he suddenly remembered that he wanted Nikolai to stay with him for a "surprise." He grabbed Nikolai's arm and pulled him on the bed. Now mind you Nikolai was thirteen at the time so he remembers it for the rest of his life, unfortunately. Murdoc smiles menacingly and flips Nikolai on his stomach. And starts to pull down Nikolai's pants. Nikolai looks back in fear only find his father starting to rape him in the ass. Nikolai screams, until Murdoc puts tape on his mouth to shut him up.
Cortez was in the recording studio at the time talking to 2D when all this was happening. She heard faint cries of pain that reminded her of when she was a fledgling. She ran out of the studio into the winnie only to find Murdoc raping Nikolai, Nikolai was crying like there was no tomorrow and Murdoc was laughing like a mad man. Cortez was in a state of shock, panic, rage, and sadness. She balled up her fist and clocked Murdoc in his lower jaw and that knocked the lights out of Murdoc. She helped Nikolai up and let him get dressed and held him in her arms until he felt better. She was furious at Murdoc, but then she remembered the last time he had this look in his eyes. It was thirteen years ago when he last had that vision. The vision is of his childhood, when his father and Hannibal would rape him for no reason. They would do it if they were pissed off at him or at the world. His ass would hurt for days at a time. His only friend was his trusty raven Cortez, or in this case the mother of his child.
She snapped back into reality and found that Nikolai had been calling her name for at least two minutes straight. All he wanted was for her to let go. He got up out of her arms and went and played with Jimmy.
When Murdoc woke from his coma that Cortez had put him in and found that he didn't remember anything that happened. He didn't remember raping Nikolai and he sure as hell didn't remember being clocked in the jaw by Cortez. After Cortez had explained everything, Murdoc finally understood and said that when he thinks about his childhood, he doesn't have control of his actions. Cortez was skeptical at first but Murdoc soon changed that… waoo waoo waoo. Unfortunately for Murdoc, he had to gain Cortez and Nikolai's trust back, and he had to apologize, which he basically did when he was drunk off his ass so… it didn't really count but it was a start. one
