Lonely Guy
***I do not own Fruits Basket so please don't sue me! I wish all the
characters where real and all mine, though . . . is that bad? I don't own
the song either it belongs to blink 182!! Forgive any mistakes!!***
~* Push it out. Fake a smile. Avert disaster, just in time. I need a drink cause in a while, Worthless answers become friends of mine. Its dumb to ask, cool to ignore. Girls possess me, but there not mine. I made my entrance, avoided hazards, Checked my engine, I fell behind*~
Kyou looked off the roof into the distant, his shoulders where heavy, and his head ached. Once more Yuki had shown him up, this time worse then the others. He grimaced. His fist went through the roof as anger soared through him. "Kyou-kun?" Tooru's understanding voice floated through the hole in the roof to his surprised ears. His face red as he looked through the hole. He had punched straight through to the bathroom, which was being occupied by a bathing Tooru. His face was burning. She was decent, but still. Why did she make him feel this way?
~* She makes me feel like its raining outside, and when the storms come on, I'm all torn up inside. I'm always nervous on, days like this, like the prom. I get to scared to move cause I'm a fucking boy.*~
She stood wrapped in a towel. If he wanted he could just move to a different spot on the roof, but something made him stay. "Gomen," he said trying to sound casual. She smiled. Her smile made his heart beat fast. He could smell her. "Kyou, would you like me to fix you some rice balls?" He was now smiling. "Yes," Kyou's smile bigger he turned away from the hole in the roof. What was wrong with him? He listened to Tooru's footsteps as she went to her room and got dressed, as she walked quickly to the kitchen to make the rice balls, and as she stopped to talk to Yuki. Kyou's face fell as Tooru's laughed floated out the door to Kyou's now disturbed ears. He heard her footsteps follow Yuki's out the door. They walked smiling away from the house, any thoughts of Kyou or rice balls clearly wipe from the girls mind.
~* Remember when I was in the grocery store, now's my time. Lost the words, Lost my nerve, Lost the girl, left the line. I would wish upon a star, but that star, it doesn't shine. So read my book with the boring ending, a short story of a lonely guy.*~
Kyou slid down off the roof. He walked through the now empty house, his anger rising and his spirits low. He wandered aimlessly before deciding to go up to his room for a cat nap. (CUTE! I couldn't resist!!) He opened the door to find a plate of rice balls on his pillow. Each one decorated with elaborate designs, each on different. Happiness once more went through him as he looked out his window. The two were back, Yuki caring groceries.
~* She makes me feel like its raining outside, and when the storms come on, I'm all torn up inside. I'm always nervous on, days like this, like the prom. I get to scared to move cause I'm still just a stupid, worthless, boy.*~
Kyou watched as the two began to run. A sudden rain shower had soaked the two. The rain fell hard quenching the thirst of the many plants. Tooru paused and looked at him through the window. She waved and smiled welcoming him and the rain. Kyou smiled, he liked the rain too.
