~Aspen's POV~
I've lived in Hoenn as long as I can remember. So why am I going to sleep-away camp? Because my best friend May Maple is going.
Right now we're traveling all the way to Alola for sleep-away camp. We have about 3 hours left until we land. 1 hour has already passed. (A/N: I don't know how long it takes to get to Alola from Hoenn) I have a feeling it's gonna be pretty fun, though.
"Hello, miss, would you like the chicken or the pasta?" the flight attendant asks.
Well, I'm vegetarian, so...
"Does the pasta have meat?" I ask.
The flight attendant shakes her head.
"I'll take the pasta, then," I say.
"And you?" the flight attendant asks May.
"The pasta as well, please," she says.
"Thank you," we say.
The flight attendant nods and moves on.
"You love chicken, May. Why didn't you take it?" I ask.
"I didn't want you to feel uncomfortable," she says, smiling.
"Thanks, May, but you didn't have to," I say.
She says, "Nonsense. You're my best friend, even if you're a vegetarian."
We laugh.
I slowly unwrap the tinfoil from the pasta. I take out a fork and start eating it.
"Mmm, fettuccine alfredo," May says, slurping the pasta up.
"Yeah, it's delicious," I say.
We continue to eat, and I play around with the TV on the seat in front of me for a little. I find a game we can play together.
After we finish off our pasta, I say, "May, go to the games on the TV thingy. I found something we can play."
For the rest of the flight we play against each other, mostly I win, but she wins sometimes too.
Ding
"We are now approaching Alola. Please fasten your seat belts. We will be landing soon."
We looked out the window as the plane descended.
I wonder, what will Alola have in store for us?
