Alternate Ending
Alright. Just as the title says, this is a 'What If?' story based on the ending of Resident Evil 4. R&R. This may seem sad but it's a dramatic story so don't expect any happy endings.
"Leon now!" shouted the familiar woman in red as she threw down a rocket launcher Leon could use to destroy the menace known as Saddler. Leon fired two more rounds at Saddler before ducking, nearly getting his head swiped, and ran to the bridge. As soon as he was in the middle of the bridge, he jumped to avoid falling down and pulled himself up. He watched Saddler land to his right and try to hit him. This time, he quickly jumped to his left, avoiding yet another strike, and stood up. He turned around and slowly walked backwards towards the rocket launcher while filling Saddler with holes all over. This seemed to have little effect though but would have to do to get the rocket launcher untouched. As soon as he felt the rocket launcher by his foot, he holstered his gun and picked the launcher up. As he stood up, he felt a sharp pain in his chest. He looked down only to see his chest impaled by one of Saddler's tentacles. "LEON!" shouted Ada as she watched helplessly as Leon was hurt badly. As Saddler moved Leon to face him, he muttered all the strength left in him and fired a rocket straight at Saddler's face, ending his reign of terrorism. As Leon fell to the floor, he saw Ada jumped down and run towards him. Ada put her arms around him, kind of like how he did it to her during Raccoon City, and looked him straight in the eye. "Leon. Don't die. Don't leave yet. We'll be able to patch you up. Just don't die" said Ada in desperation trying to heal Leon's huge wound. "It's… no use n.. now.. Just," said Leon as he coughed up some blood, "Just leave me here.". "No! I can't" said Ada as she held him closer. Leon felt her warm tears fall on him and just smiled. He put his arm on Ada's cheek and looked at her. "Don't worry," said Leon as he coughed again, 'I'll always be with you". Ada felt Leon's hand slipping from her cheek and eventually, fall down. "LEON!" shouted Ada as she held Leon's now dead body. She laid him peacefully on the floor and wiped away the last of her tears. "Goodbye Leon" said Ada as she tried her hardest to hold back her tears. She ignored the ringing of her PDA and grabbed the sample. She jumped on the ship and aimed at the pilot. "Bring me back to Wesker's place. I have something to do" said Ada as she looked at the pilot nod and flew away.
