A note from the Author: Dear Readers-
This Story is set about 20 years after the events of Pirates 3.(At World's End.) and the main character is Matthew Turner, the son of Will Turner. The Story is about how Matthew sets out on a journey to find and break the curse of the Flying Dutchman. He eventually ends up at the feet of Captain Jacob Blades, an English Buccaneer who has also been hunting the Flying Dutchman. What Matt doesn't know is that he is the leader of the new nine pirate lords.(Ya the old nine kind of disbanded and now they're all dead.) And as leader he is the most feared and powerful pirate under the sun. Anyway after a series of adventure the two become friends and Blades makes Matt second in command of his ship. And on Will's 30th birthday they find the Flying Dutchman floating aimlessly in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. Once on board Matt is more than thrilled to see his father in 10 years. However Blades has a different welcome in mind. Blades and his entire crew of pirates wage war on the Dutchman and wants Matt's father dead because he believes that he is Davy Jones. No matter how much Matt tries to convince that his father is not Jones, and that the real Jones died decades ago, Blades is not convinced and promises to stab William's heart. However Matt is determined to defend his father. But Blades makes him an offer. If he helps kill his own dad then he will become the next leader of the Nine. Now Matt must decide if he must defend his father and give up the chance to become the greatest pirate of his time or vice versa.
