Hermione's Tale

X.x.X.x.X

Ned Stark of Winterfell only a boy of eight looked up at his mother with big wide Tully blue eyes.

"Mommy, how do you meet dad?" He asked her one morning, when Hermione carefully taking out her winter clothes for the day. Her son looked at her with the awestruck expression. Hermione stopped unpacking and smiled at her son. The son she should have not even have. The son she gave up everything in the future for.

She knelled down to Ned's eye level.

"If you really want to know..." She trailed off,

"I really want to know! Everyone gossips about a strange woman appearing out of nowhere and stolen the lord's heart." Ned said rather eagerly, up to his mom. Hermione smile faded a bit.

"I guess you're old enough to know then." She sat down on her bed and pat the spot beside her for Ned. Ned sat down beside his mother.

"Well it was one winter day, when mommy appeared out of nowhere in the middle of the woods. You're father was in a hunting party and found mommy who was in danger by some strange bandits."

"Dad's a hero? Did he come by on his horse and save you like the maiden in the tales?" Ned asked, he strongly believe the tales that his parents told him from time to time every night before bed. Ned's dream was to become a knight one day. Something he didn't get from Hermione who was just studious. Maybe from his father or grandfather.

"Yes he is my love. He saved mommy that day and that was when I started to fall in love with him."

There was a sudden cough by the doorway, and Hermione looked up at her sudden visitor with a blush on her face.

It was her husband, who smirked at her.

"Are you telling the boy how we met love?" Robb Stark asked lightly at his wife's expression.
