Venus hears a song on the radio and it reminds her of her lover and their family. one shot this is based when the guys would be about 20 or so.

this is my first one shot story enjoy

Venus de milo sang along with the radio dancing around the kitchen making dinner for four hungry mutants

On the ground I lay

Motionless in pain

I can see my life flashing

Before my eyes

Did I fall asleep?

Is this all a dream?

Wake me up

I'm living a nightmare

Venus did love this song. She stirred the chicken soup she had made, she smiled thinking of the first time she heard this song. It was their first date it reminded her of her husband, her was a mutant turtle just like herself

Leonardo was her husband's name, she did love his name. The way it softened her mouth every time she spoke it, a sweet sensation would coat her mouth and she would cherish it.

On this bed I lay

Losing everything

I can see my life passing me by.

Venus sang happily dancing with the grace of a ninja; she knew her husband was a great leader and a great brother. She knew no matter how many times he was hit he would always get back up. She loved his stubborn side, it had saved his shell more than once

Was it all too much?

Or just not enough

Their wedding day was the best day of her life until ten years ago, she smiled at the memory. And let herself remember that day there have been two more special days. Venus would never let those memory's slip from her grasp ever.

She poured the liquid into five bowls and lay each one on the low table

She called them for dinner

"Kathy, Richard, Vanessa, Leonardo dinners ready." Venus seated herself on the seat and soon enough she heard the padding of feet echoing toward her. A small mutant with blond pig-tails jumped up beside her mother. Venus caught Kathy before she could land painfully on her shell. She tickled the four year olds tummy and she squirmed,

"Mummy!" she squealed Venus put her in the seat beside hers. Richard walked in he wore a light blue mask just like his fathers. The six year old wanted to be like Leo so badly. Finally Leonardo walked in his eldest daughter on his back. Vanessa had long black hair and electric blue eyes she wore a white mask the tails rested over her shoulder she was natrally like her father, kind gentel but hard anf focused all the time, she was wise beond her years.

Venus settled down and once everyone had finished she cleared the dishes away and sat down on the sofa to do her needle work. She patted her swollen stomach

"Baby you have a crazy family. Three uncles three aunties, nine cousins, one grandfather, two sisters one brother and a mommy and daddy, we all love you very much so when you're ready to come out we will greet you with open arms" she patted her belly and began her needle work, dreaming of what the future held for their family. It will be something good, I hope.
