Disclaimer thigee: I'm not Shakespeare, not do i desire to be the author to any of his works!

Author's note: Macbeth was the only bit of Shakespeare that we read in highschool. Sadly, we never even finished it. We were given an option of assignments, andI chose to write a poem. Hopefully, it is not too faulty.

A murder

Claimed 'twas done by two certain suspects

Upon this very night

But these were sleeping

When awoken with this tale of fright

A dagger

We see a dagger in the hand of one

Who is claimed not guilty

Not even thought to be such

Though his actions were ever so faulty

The suspects

Run toward the hills of nevermore

To a land without a name

They could not bear it

To live so deep in fear and shame

A man

This certain man we see before us

Twiddles thumb to thumb

While so silently wishing

He could make his mind go numb

A lady

This lady of gore as we see her now

Has a heart truly of stone

Does not she care?

For she has caused many hearts to groan

Another man

We find him within his chamber room

Alone, bloody, and dead

The spirits await his soul

What were the last thoughts to cross his head?
