Hi here is a little oneshot i want to do to celebrate the 4th of july

It was the 4th of July, the day america gained independence and the humans were going to watch fireworks, so were the animals in the central park (not near the humans of course) all except one.

Skipper.

He didnt like fireworks, he said it makes you lose focus and desicive action. The other penguins tried to beg him to go but he made his final decision.

He wasnt going.

While all the animals were leaving Skipper got a drink and sat down. He tried to think of what he would do since he was the only one that didnt go. Then Skipper got an idea, he`ll swim.

By the time he finished his drink and went outside all the other animals were gone.

"Hey Skipper" a voice said behind him, he turned around to see Marlene.

"Marlene!? What are you doing here?" Skipper demanded.

"I forgot something so i came back and i saw you over here. Why are you not at the park?"

"Because I`m not going didnt the others tell you that?"

"No and why arent you going? fireworks are fun and it`s the 4th of July."

"i dont really want to."

"Come on please? I`ll even stay here to watch them with you if you want."

Skipper looked at Marlene and after arguing he finally agreed.

They sat there watching the fireworks.

"I have to admit this is pretty nice" Skipper said.

"Yeah see?" Marlene said "you just need to give things a chance."

Skipper rolled his eyes and continued to watch.

"Do you think you could give us a chance?" Marlene asked.

"What do you mean give us a chance? We are friends arent we?"

"Yes but I mean more than friends" Marlene couldnt believe she was doing this.

"Maybe, why do you ask?"

"Because... oh never mind."

"No tell me" Skipper said giving her attention

"No it`s silly."

"Tell me!" he said "come on whats the worst that could happen?"

"Trust me Skipper knowing you, there are a lot of worsts but whatever. It`s because I like you, as in like you like you."

Skipper heart pumped, he felt the same way but his team wasnt allowed to do romantic stuff, except Rico and his plastic doll. He finally said "same."

They looked at eachother for a long time and then, unrealizing it, the kissed as a firework of a heart blew into their mind. They could both agree this was the best 4th of July ever!
