He was mean and she knew it.
He hurted people for fun.
She didn't care.
He thought she was fragile and delicated.
Like a hummingbird.
He felt a crazy impulse to protect her.
Damon felt hate for Matt. That boy who always protected her from evil.
From him.
He hated himself for making her cry.
She hated herself for crying in front of him.
Damon no longer loved Elena.
Acctually he never did.
Damon felt hate for turning him down and for loving his brother, Stefan instead of him.
Stefan, their mother's favorite.
Then, he met Bonnie
She was everything that Katherine wasn't.
Delicate, Small and Powerful at once.
She was perfect for him.
They completed each other.
They loved each other.
Bonnie was alone in her room, sitting on the floor, she was crying.
She heard a knock on the window.
She saw a shadow by the window. A shadow with blue eyes. The eyes she cryed for.
She wiped the tears away, and said, the voice trembling a little.
- C-come in.
The vampire sat on the rug with her and asked.
- Why do you cry, Angel? - Damon looked in her puffy chocolate eyes.
- I-I-m not crying. - She tryed to lie to him. Failing, of course. She dropped one or two tears, that she cursed.
He wiped that tears away. That tears that made him feel sad.
- Don't cry... I am here. and I always will be. - Damon knew it was a promise. A promise he'd try to keep.
Bonnie stopped crying.
- Promise?
- Yes. - Damon kissed her ignoring the blood under her skin. Someday she'd be like him. She'd be his.
