The door to the Headmaster's office opened, revealing a frazzled looking Minerva, who was now the Headmistress after the Battle of Hogwarts. She removed her glasses from the bridge of her nose, sighing deeply. The renovations of the Hogwarts castle took its toll on her, her magic and expertise in Transfiguration greatly used. She slumped down on the Headmaster's chair, a silky voice drawling behind her.

"Tired, Minerva? You still look as beautiful as ever, though." A previous headmaster in the name of Phineas Nigellus Black commented with a slight smile adorning his thin lips.

Minerva turned her head to face the portrait, a frown settling on her face. "I'm not getting any younger, Phineas."

"Age doesn't define beauty, my dear Minerva. Seeing you since you were just a bright student, I think your beauty is eternal."

Minerva swung her chair back to avert her eyes from the portrait as her lips pulled to a near-smile.
