How Cats Came to Be:
One fine day, On Olympus, a fight hung heavy in the air, everyone glared at each other, eventually Athena spat out, "Why? Poseidon are you such a jerk? You already destroyed half of Athens did you have to damage the Acropolis too?" Poseidon Squirmed in his seat "You KNOW that temple is sacred to me, and Athens? My precious Athenians live there!" she wailed "You, know he did that 'cause he was jealous- your prone to it to!" Hera piped up, and Poseidon rose a bit in his seat only to be jammed down when Athena spat venom, "Well, I NEVER destroyed one of his sacred monuments? Did I?" "What about Aracne?" Aphrodite piped, "You would do the same, maybe worst," Athena shot back giving a five star glare, "And Pandora?" Zeus implied, "That was your Idea!" Athena Wailed, "You Wicke..." "Did you Forget Marsyas" Ares replied causally leaning on his sword "I didn't Kno..." (The rest of the conversation is not recorded due to the vast amounts of cussing and squabbling which makes it hard to type.) "EVERYONE" Hera boomed, "You say 'I demand a peace offering' I give you a peace offering!" Athena said, "You have two days- or there WILL be war." She stormed out of the throne room, and on that note the council was dismissed.
The last remaining day was super stressful on Hera, she thought and thought- what could make Athena happy? Hmmm... that girl has a lot of stress on her life, being the goddess of war, and weaving, and Wisdom, and cooking, and flossing your teeth, brushing your teeth... – any ways Hera thought Athena needed a little joy in her life to make her smile- for once- Cute, she thought fuzzy, cute, lovable, practical, can hunt, Athena love that in animals, yeah, a animal! It also has to be unique, fast, have a wide amount of abilities, and be self-conscious. S he thought and thought, for day and night and finally on the second day after dreaming of possibilities and woke up thinking of a- Cat! Yeah that's it! I'm calling it Felis Catus! And I'll name it Lucy! Suddenly there a Mom and a Dad cat with a tiny little kitten appeared, hmmm... I'll keep the older ones 'cause those ones can reproduce! (Hera was god of child-birth and Families as well as numerous things which we aren't going into)
When the hearing started, Hera walked into the room, Athena glared at her, holding a tiny little kitten and when Athena saw it she asked "is that it?!" she was literally was hoping up and down like a little girl! "Yes of Course" she gave it to Athena who tenderly rocked it back and forth, "What is it called, what is its name?" she asked, "She is a Cat, and her Name is Lucy."
