Tony, Pepper and Rhodey were hanging out in the armory, like any other day; and like any other day, Pepper was sitting as close to Tony as possible. And doing anything (sane) she could think of to get Tony's attention. And lately, that was pretty normal too.

Tony, of course, didn't notice any of it the way he was supposed to. He was his usual, completely oblivious self. And Pepper was getting frustrated.

"Hey, Tony, do you ever miss being in a relationship? Like didn't you like having someone who needs you?" Pepper asked.

"Well no, not necessarily, I have Iron Man for that." Tony responded absent-mindedly as he repaired the War Machine armor.

Pepper grunted under her breath. She'd been asking stuff like that all afternoon, and quite frankly, she and Rhodey both were surprised that he wasn't annoyed by now.

And quite frankly, Pepper was frustrated. So she picked up her backpack and headed out, claiming she had to get home for dinner, and that she'd text Tony later.

Rhodey sighed. Sometimes, this boy was impossible.

"Tony, Tony, Tony. There's so little you know about girls and so much you need to know."

"Like what?" Tony asked, curious.

"There's so many, I can't explain them in a paragraph. I think it'd take a whole essay." Rhodey explained.

"Come on, explain it to me!" Tony asked, confused. Rhodey slapped his palm to his face, shaking his head in disappointment.

"Oh boy...alright, T, sit down. There are a few things to know about girls..." Rhodey began, sitting Tony on the chair in the armory.

"Okay, mister girl expert, tell me exactly what I'm doing wrong." Tony said, sitting across from Rhodey.

"Okay, first of all, you don't tell a girl that has a crush on you 'I could just kiss you' unless you plan on following up on that promise because she will be hoping that you do. And if you don't she will become unbelievably pissed at you and you will regret your mistake very very dearly." Rhodey explained.

Tony was silent as he listened more.

"Second of all, if a girl starts dating a guy that doesn't seem like someone she'd date she's probably trying to make you jealous. She probably didn't want to date him in the first place but eventually it might be too late for that because she'll be so frustrated with you that she'll have given up on you. And that's not a good place to be."

"Wait what are you talking about? This sounds like all the things Pepper has done."

"Very astute observation Tony! Care to build on it?" Rhodey chimed sarcastically.

"I don't know what you mean."

Rhodey sighed.

"You are so completely clueless…"

"Come on, I don't understand." Tony begged.

"You gotta figure it out for yourself now, dude. Good luck…" Rhodey said, going back to his work.

"Come on, Rhodey, please tell me?" Tony pleaded.

"No."

"Pleeease?"

"No!"

"Pretty please?"

"No, Tony!"

"Fine…" Tony said, pouting in defeat. Rhodey chuckled. The boy had a lot to learn…

That's right, just a quickie before bed. Correction—adorable quickie! (Also a distraction from my Easter candy. I'm getting too darn much of that stuff!) Review?
