It was the first day of school and guess what? I was hella excited.
I was wearing my mega cool Captain America hoodie and even if I knew my hair was a total mess, I didn't really care cuz either way; I'd still look epic (just kiddin'). My back pack was packed and my shoes were tied tight…seriously! I'm so READY.
I went in the yellow school bus wearing earphones and playing random songs on my PSP. I looked around to see that almost everyone was staring at me. I took the chance to smile at them and look for a place to sit. Walking my way through the aisle, the girls were all squealing, asking me to sit with them. I was about to sit on one seat when a certain blonde caught my attention.
He was staring at his lap and he also looked troubled.
Heroic instincts kickin' in, I approached him and sat beside him instead. He glanced at me, obviously confused and I responded with a smile. His eyes widened a bit and quickly, he looked away. I bit my inner cheek, seriously wanting to ask him what was wrong and what was troubling him then suddenly, as if by timing, when I took off my earphones, I heard murmurs.
"Ew.. Arthur Kirkland…?" – "Psh… that nerd? He doesn't need that kind of attention.." – "…unicorn psycho…"
I could see he heard them clearly since he was flinching at the bad comments and his lips actually started to quiver. But there was one comment that affected him much more than the other comments. Just one word that made his eyes teary… I was watching him… and I was actually getting affected on how he was getting affected…

I got my PSP, clicked on one of my favorite songs then quickly clicking 'pause'. I took off one earphone and handed it to him. He stared at it for a moment before hesitantly wearing it. As I could see he was ready, I clicked on 'x' which was the 'play' button.
The song started to play and he looked really confused. Minutes passed quickly and when the song finally ended, he turned his head to look at me. His eyebrows were furrowed then suddenly; he broke into fits of giggles.
"That was one of the weirdest songs I've ever heard."
I faked a pout, "Hey! I love that song!" but a smile overpowered my pout.
He took off the earphone and thanked me as he returned it. I got the earphone and shook my head, "No prob.". I leaned in closer to his ear and started singing quietly.
"If you were gay… That'd be okay… I mean cuz hey! I'd like you anyway…!" I earned a light chuckle.
"Because you see, if it were me… I would feel free to say that I was GAY…!" he then smirked at me, adding a quick, "But you're not gay." like in the actual song, except that he changed one word.
I flash him a toothy grin, "Annnnnd that's where you're wrong."
