This is my very first fanfic so please give me any feedback, and please don't be super judgy.
The guild hall doors burst open and a little girl who looked about my age walked in, like the biggest kid on the block. No one was really fazed by the sudden loud noise since it happens quite often, but I turned to see the cause. The girl walked towards Lucy with a cheery yet creepy grin which I found weird. The girl asked Lucy a question, and Lucy responded by pointing to Mirajane with an unsettled look on her face and told her to go talk to her. Then the girl walked towards the bar counter where Mirajane was working.
"May I join this guild?" She asked the question with such a calm and casual tone. It was like she had been to Fairy Tail before. I wasn't sure why, but maybe she had been here a long time ago. I joined pretty recently after all, but still she was off-settling. She had waist-length lavender hair, tan skin, sapphire blue eyes, half-inch white wedges, and a long-sleeve black lace knee-length dress. Mirajane's reaction told me she didn't know this girl.
"S-Sure, let me go get our master." Mirajane stuttered as she responded Clearly she was thrown off by the interaction.
3 minutes later
When Makarov appeared he greeted the girl and asked her if she was the one who wanted to join the guild. He was just as calm as the girl when she asked Mirajane if she could join the guild. He studied her as she responded.
"Why yes, I do. I'm Haven." I wondered why she was acting so casually. She wasn't excited like Lucy or shy like me. She was… neutral. It was vaguely unnerving.
"Okay, just tell Mirajane where you want your guild mark and she'll put it there." Master said. Her casualness also threw off Master.
"Right here, please." She said with a smile, while pointing to her right cheek. Haven watched intently as Mirajane lightly pressed the small stamp onto her cheek. When the stamp came away from Haven's cheek masters' eyes widened, and Mirajane and I were choking on the air. Then the whole guild was choking on air after turning to look at the new kid's guild mark.
Haven's guild mark was an incredible sight. It was milky white and faded into blood red. It was unlike anything I had ever seen before, but I hadn't been here very long. It was even more of a surprise that no one else had seen anything like it. Natsu then walked up to Haven and started sniffing her.
"What the heck?!" Haven shouted, surprised by Natsu's actions. Then she pushed him away with surprising force, and he landed next to the feet of Lucy… who was across the guild hall.
Natsu grinned and said, "You smell funny." The whole guild was full of shocked and confused faces, even Cana who had woken up during the commotion. We all had the same question, Who is this girl? To us she was some random girl who had shown up in our guild, joined, and shown off, but I felt like there was something more to it. I tried to go over to meet her, but for some reason my body wouldn't allow me to. Even though I'm shy, Fairy Tail had made me more confident, so this bothered me and I begrudgingly sat there and watched
She walked over to Natsu with an annoyed and embarrassed look on her face. Then she helped him up and asked him "What's your name?" Natsu responded with a big grin and, of course, his name.
"You suck," she stated and looked away, which made me smile. She then turned and glared at Natsu. Natsu then shivered which was unexpected because only Erza and Lucy could make him shiver. However, when she glared I felt a strange unsettling presence appear. I decided I wasn't in the mood to solve a mystery so I left to go home. Thank goodness she didn't follow me.
