They sat around a fire for Percy's nineteenth birthday, each had a blue cupcake made by Sally Jackson. Percy looked out to the ocean, they were celebrating his birthday in the same spot his mom met Poseidon.
"What are you thinking about Seaweed Brain?"
Percy looked down at his girlfriend, she was gorgeous on any other day, even when she herself didn't feel like it, but the way the firelight danced in her grey eyes.. it gave them the light he always saw when she would talk for hours about all the archeological buildings she would put up.
"Nothing much. Just this is where it all began for me." He said.
Hazel looked down at the ground, then out to the ocean, "you mean you weren't kidding when you said Poseidon and you mother met right here, where we're sitting."
"Nope."
"Huh. That's pretty cool." Leo shrugged, then laughed, "did your dad walk out of the water all ripped and in slow-mo? Oh please tell me he did!"
"Leo, don't be rude." Calypso warned, but Percy merely smirked at them.
"I dunno. You'll have to ask my mom."
"Happy birthday, Jackson. You'll have to tell your mom that I said her baking is great." Nico raised his half eaten cupcake, blue frosting dyed his lips. Will's arm was around Nico's waste and it was at times like this that Percy forgot Nico was older than all of them.
"Yeah I will." He nodded slightly.
"To Percy and his nineteenth birthday!" Piper raised her cupcake too and the group copied her, no charmspeak required.
"Hear hear!" They all said.
They talked about everything and nothing as the night wore on. Everyone broke off every once in a while to talk to their significant other, the only one who didn't was Reyna because she didn't have anyone but Piper made sure to include her in some of the conversations she had with Jason.
Percy just enjoyed having Annabeth in his arms, ever since Tartarus, things like holding hands and cuddling meant a lot more to them both, especially when one of them had a nightmare about their time in the underworld. Percy often found himself needing that touch every once in a while, just so that he knew he wasn't alone, even if Annabeth was sitting next to him.
And given the look Annabeth sometimes gave him, she felt the same thing, especially when trying to make a big decision for either the two of them or for the group, though she hated to admit it.
"What are you thinking about?" Annabeth asked.
"Bold of you to assume I think of things." Percy smirked.
"I know," she laughed but then grew serious. "Really though, why do you look so grave on your birthday?"
"Just..we lost a lot of people throughout our lifetimes alone, what If our kids.." He trailed off.
"Wait a moment, Jackson. Are you saying you want us to have kids?" Annabeth stopped him by touching her hand to his chest, the boy's cheeks grew red with embarrassment.
"Well yeah-I mean if you want to- I wouldn't yeah know.." He stuttered and eventually gave up trying to explain himself, he sighed.
"Yeah, I do Annabeth." He said finally.
"Well it would have been nice to know considering I would be the one giving birth to them." She huffed jokingly, but then realizing the look on her boyfriend's face and went back to being serious.
"They'll do fine, Percy. We'll be living in New Rome, no one will hurt them there. No monsters, no gods if I have anything to say about it." Annabeth glared up at the sky.
"Yeah, I know." He nodded.
"Good, for now, just enjoy your birthday party." She elbowed him.
He winced, but couldn't help the smile forming on his lips.

It was getting darker and darker as the night wore on, and couple after couple they went into their respective tents. They would've had some people stay in the cabin but it was demolished in the storm Percy witnessed when he was twelve.
Soon as the embers of the fire started to die out and Percy was roasting yet another blue marshmallow, it was just him and Annabeth. He liked this of course, they never had much time alone together anymore.
"So if we were to have kids, what would be their names do you think?" Annabeth asked after a long yawn.
"I don't know, what would you like them to be?" Percy asked, pulling his marshmallow off the stick.
"I know I want something unique..."
"They'll be unique enough without the names," Percy laughed. "Think about it, on top of being half-bloods, we have to be the only kids of Poseidon and Athena to get together in.. in forever."
"Good point."
"Who's powers do you think they'll have the most?"
"Well if it's a girl obviously she'll exhibit more of Athena's traits." Annabeth stayed matter-of-factly
"What are you trying to say about my dad?" Percy raised an eyebrow at her, and poked her in her side.
Annabeth's hand reached down to touch where he had poked her, covering her most ticklish spot.
"Well, it's no surprise that Athena favors her girls more then anything. After all she's sworn off men."
Percy poked her again, "I think you're just being mean."
"Seaweed brain. Poke me one more time and I will unleash my rath." Annabeth promised.
Naturally, Percy didn't listen and poked her again, she began to giggle. He loved that sound, she rolled on her side trying to escape him but he merely added all of his fingers into the fray and started tickling her all over.
They continued like this for a while longer, Annabeth giggling until she started to hiccup.
After the short tickle fest Annabeth lay on his chest, breathing softly as she slept peacefully, he stared at the stars now. He saw the new constellation Artemis had put in the sky for Zoë Nightshade a few years before.
His eyes began to droop and he fell asleep.

He was rudely awakened by being thrown in the ocean not what seemed like two minutes later. He looked over at Annabeth underwater and she looked livid.
He swan over to her and gave her a kiss, a kiss good enough, she would say later, to rival their very first one.
Just something a little short and hopefully cute! If you enjoyed please leave a review, I love reading them!
