"Got it memorized?"
How many times had he said that? Those three words?
Maybe too many. It was just three words. It was just a silly quirk. Nothing more.
But "I love you," was three words, too. Did those words matter? They did.
But a Nobody can't say, "I love you," because a Nobody can't love.
But even a Nobody has memories. And how he wanted to keep them, above all else. Maybe that's why he said those words so often. Maybe it was because he was really saying, "Please remember me."
And maybe that was why it hurt.
Maybe that was why it hurt so much. When Roxas,
the one he wanted to remember him the most,
forgot.
Roxas, the only one he might have been able to say those three words to.
The three words that weren't the ones he said so often.
