"Later, sister kisser" Tony smirked as he walked backwards down the hallway, turning towards the stairs. Felix gave a small smile as he pulled shut the door of his apartment. Burying his head in his hands, he considered. The quick kiss that Tony had just given him lingered on his lips, the strangeness being suppressed by an odd euphoria.
Thinking through all of this, or at least trying to, Felix sat back down on the couch. Attempting to pull one of the bottles from underneath, he heard the door rattle open as it slid. Only one person would be entering that quietly. Standing up and seeing, he was right.
"Oi, you're supposed to be on a bus, you forget something?" He called out, not realizing how close Tony was. Finally reaching one of the bottles under the couch Felix rose, coming face to face with him.
"Yeah man, I did" Tony grinned, pressing a kiss to Felix's lips, dropping his duffel bag. There was a twinge in Felix's stomach that he'd doubt would ever leave. He looks just like her. But as their lips crashed together more and more, the electricity, the almost searing heat pushed all that aside. Tony this time was the one to pull away, this time staring up at him breathless; one of his arms now around Felix's waist.
"How'd you let me leave?" Tony laughed, biting his own lip with another smirk.
"I'm surprised I did" Felix admitted, handing the bottle back over to him.
Together they moved to the couch, kissing again, twisting the cap off of the bottle. They began to drink, more and more, the whiskey being shared wordlessly between them. After a while Tony's head found its way onto Felix's lap, the alcohol spilled occasionally down the both of them as they continued to drink it. The warmth from the both of them, and the whiskey was addictive. Just as he began to start to get woozy and looked at the time, Felix remembered the situation.
"Art wasn't kidding you know? Neither was I, DYAD's gonna be after you pretty quick" He sighed, watching as Tony took another swig from the bottle.
"They're so quick I can't even finish my damn drink? Alright man, I'm gone" He joked with mock horror, making no move at all to leave. His faced turned to an indignant frown as Felix took the bottle from him.
Sighing again, Felix shook his head slightly, giggling almost as more liquor spilled on Tony's face and his jeans as a result of him trying to take another swig. Tony leapt up, first unsteady on his feet, and then wiped his face with his sleeve.
"Okay no coming back this time, it's for your own safety" Felix pressed, he too getting up from the couch.
"Is that a threat Felix? I think like it" Tony grinned, once again staring up at him.
"Tony, I'm serious, these people⦠are serious" He sobered, the drunken indifference being replaced with an almost tentative concern. Seeing his expression, Tony understood, the smirk dropped from his face.
"Like you said man, you don't need be worried about me" Tony assured, nodding. As he picked up his bag once again, Felix stood awkwardly, then headed for the door.
"It's been cool man, when people aren't trynna kill me we should have a drink again, this time at a bar" He offered, swaying slightly on the polished concrete.
"Yes Tony" Felix sighed "We should".
"Alright, later" Tony called, pulling the apartment door open and moving out into the hallway.
As Tony stumbled down the stairs once again, Felix pulled at his lip. It was probably just the buzz from the whiskey; it might have just been the time of day. But this feeling, it caused him to smile for no apparent reason, his whole being was almost emulating.
It was different.
He was already in way too deep.
