Amaire's Ballad
Disclaimer: i own nothing
an: This is my first fanfic in a long time, over the year i have written a bunch of short stories on lord of the rings, and am only now typing them. They have no praticular order to them, but they are about Amarie, a cursed elf, and her children. And becausei'mto lazy to write a long epic fanfiction, chapter one is a ballad of Amarie's early life.So enjoy
Many years ago
Before the first ring war
Lived a maiden fair
In Lothlorien's stronghold
Calenel was born a twin
And loved him dear
But one day her twin did learn
Of true evil then
Seduced by Melkor's greed
Made a dark gold ring
Calenel was married
To dear Iluven
Only to loose him in
That Fated ring war
T'was Cast out by her people
And renamed Aniamarien
She traveled all over the globe
And to her horror learned
She was curse with eternal life
Not a day to age, No cure working
She sought a place to live for all her life
And so traveled to Rivendale
Where she was Arwen's maid
And renamed Amarie
She raised her to be
A beauty fair
But one day a lad did come
And tore their friendship asunder
Each had made a bet
That the other would not ask his name
And in a twist of fate
The lads name Arwen did learn
A mistake Amarie could not erase
The Fates had now procured
For in that blink of time
He saw fair Arwen's light
That of Amarie's beauty
Was dull in his eyes
In that moment now
Amarie's heart grew cold
For she had no chance
To win the Lads true love
He turned and saw her leave
A pain filled look at he
He knew his time was short
But hers so, so long
Threw time and time again
She fought to win his heart
But all he saw was Arwen
Until one fate full night
In grief and loss
He took her to his tent
And lay there long with she
For one passion filled night
He asked her not to leave
But remain by his side
She said she'd never Leave
But she knew this was a lie
And she left him far too soon
Neither did they know
That some one overheard
A hobbit named Merry
Followed Frodo she ran
To the gates of mount doom
In the drags she did fall
But die did she not
For her curse saved her
And that of her unborn sons
That grew unknown in her womb
To her sister she went
Seeking her council
And into the mirror of Gladriel she did look
"Upon my word" she exclaimed,
"You carry not one child but two,
Sons of a king, both with equal destinies"
Her sister gave her the news
That Aragon had married
Arwen that same year
And to her room she fled
To hide her tears
She should have looked to the future
But dreamed of him instead
Her sons she did send
To learn different arts
One to be a warrior,
And the Other a Wizard
And she did wander through days and nights
Until she came to a tavern
Where the rest of the fellowship stayed
And met Merry again
He won her heart
With his ways of kindness
She was a fool
To hide behind her grief
And she did fall in love,
With a man half her size
A strange wedding it was
But had a happy end
Amarie's tale was over
But it was the beginning of Arien's
