UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN...

Author's note: This is a S+S fanfiction. It's my first one so don't be too strict and please don't flame me (I wouldn't blame if you did though). I just read so many S+S fanfictions, I had to try and write one of my own.

It was a warm and serene night in China. Only the sound of the crickets softly chirping could scarcely be heard. Li Syoaran, the soon-to-be leader of the Li Clan, the most powerful and important family in all of China, abruptly awoke in a cold sweat. It was that nightmare again! He's been having it for months now. They were very hazy and no matter how hard he tried, he never could make any sense of them. He sighed and slowly got up to get another glass of water.
' I might as well give up, I'm not getting any sleep tonight ' he grumbled to himself.
He absently pored himself another glass of water and sat on the edge of his bedside, trying once again but in vain to comprehend the meaning of the dreams. He's been having them more and more frequently lately and they have been depriving him of his much needed sleep.
They always started the same way, he was standing in the middle of an empty room when suddenly, a chilling darkness appeared and the once bright room was engulfed by a dark and cold shadow. He felt it's iciness in his bones and as he was trying to warm himself, a dark figure almost invisible to the unwatchful eye in midst of all the darkness appears. He can almost feel in his mind who the person is and yet the identity of this mysterious shadow was always out of his reach. He tries to unmask the dark fanthom, but as he approaches, he and the figure are showered in a storm of blood. He slowly raises his now blood drenched fingers to his lips and tastes the sweet yet salty blood on his tongue. He glances once again at the dark figure, but in its place lies the fragile body of an emerald-eyed angel, her beautiful face blessed with the most enlightening smile graced on her thin lips.
'No!' he shouted
'Sakura!'
It was at this moment, he awakes breathing hard, his trembling body drenched in sweat. Sometimes he got lucky and awoke before being able to see the identity of the dark figure. Other times, he saw himself approaching the immobile angel and her serene smile changes to a look of horror that should have never been bestowed on her little pretty face.

Author's note: Well that is the first chapter! I hope you liked it! Please read and review fast so I can put the 2nd chapter as fast as possible! I know, I know I have to be patient. I just hope I get at least 10 positive reviews because, like some of you probably felt with your first fanfiction, I'm extremely nervous. (Take deep breaths) I promise the next chapter will be longer. This was my first one so I didn't want to make it too long and bore you with it. *Sigh* Just be honest.
