"Remember, a Jedi can feel the Force flowing through him." said Obi Wan Kenobi to Luke.
"You mean it controls your actions?"
"Partially. But it also obeys your commands."
Han Solo then interrupts the two, as Luke is in the midst of training sessions against a practice droid
"Listen, you. Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side, kid."
"You don't believe in the Force, do you?" asks Luke.
Kid, I've flown from one side of this galaxy to the other. I've seen a lot of strange stuff, but I've never seen anything to make me believe there's one all-powerful force controlling everything. There's no mystical energy field that controls my destiny. It's all a lot of simple tricks and nonsense.
Luke then lifts his lightsaber to defend against the droid, but failing and in turn, being hit on the leg by the burning laser shot.
"I suggest you try it again, Luke." says Kenobi, as he puts the blast shield down on Luke's helmet.
"This time, let go your conscious self and act on instinct." he adds
"With the blast shield down, I can't even see." protests Luke
"How is he supposed to fight?" asks Han. "The force is just a lot of nonsense, I said it before: simple tricks."
Obi Wan lifts his hand and moves it to one side, causing a cup full of water and Han Solo to fly out of the room and into the corridor.
"Still don't believe in the force?" said Kenobi with a smile as a soaked Han Solo slowly got up, drenched from head to toe.
"Darn you wizard…" he muttered as everyone, Luke, Chewbacca and the droids looked at him, laughing heartedly.
Authors Note: This is my first attempt at a one-shot…probably a failed one. Constructive criticism apreciated.
