Regrets
Things happen, people die, people move on. But there's always one or two things people simply can't move on and regret.
As for Leo, he just seems to be continuously reminded that he killed his mother. Well, he didn't kill her, but he did cause her death, accidentally. He regretted being young and clueless when his mother needed help. He regretted being useless, unable to find his way to Ogygia. He regretted having to poke that dagger into his heart, then he realised that what he was doing would break his oath to Calypso, Piper and Jason. But it was too late.
